Accessibility

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA wherever it is reasonably achievable. Below is what that means in practice, and where the site still falls short — because a statement that only lists successes is not much use to anyone.

What is in place

• ✓A "Skip to main content" link is the first thing keyboard focus reaches on every page, so the header and navigation can be bypassed.
• ✓Every page has one H1 and a logical heading order beneath it.
• ✓The site is operable by keyboard, including navigation, the mobile menu, forms, and the before-and-after comparison sliders.
• ✓The Services menu in the header is a button, not a hover-only menu. It opens with Enter or Space as well as hover, its items are reachable with Tab, Escape closes it and returns focus to the button, and its state is announced.
• ✓The FAQ uses native disclosure controls, so each question is reachable by keyboard, announced as expanded or collapsed, and findable with in-page browser search even while closed.
• ✓Before-and-after sliders can be driven with arrow keys, Home and End, and every slider also has plain Before / Compare / After buttons for anyone who cannot drag.
• ✓Interactive controls meet a 24×24px minimum target size, and primary touch targets on mobile are larger again.
• ✓Images carry descriptive alt text; images that are purely decorative are hidden from screen readers rather than described.
• ✓Motion respects the prefers-reduced-motion setting: count-up animations, parallax, and the slider nudge are disabled when it is on.
• ✓Form fields have real labels, errors are announced, and the confirmation state is exposed to screen readers.
• ✓Focus is visible on interactive elements, and modal dialogs — the mobile menu, the full-review dialog, and the gallery photo viewer — trap focus while open, close on Escape, and restore focus to whatever opened them.
• ✓The gallery hero never advances on its own; it changes only when you choose a photo. The trust ticker below the homepage banner does scroll, and it stops when you hover over it or move keyboard focus into it.

Known limitations

• •The comparison sliders are inherently visual. The one on each service page carries a text caption describing what changed; the homepage sliders are identified by their section heading and the alt text on the "after" image instead. Either way the comparison itself cannot be conveyed fully without sight.
• •Photography carries meaning on this site. Alt text describes each image, but a detailed visual result is difficult to convey in a sentence.
